Beschrijving: Schotse pale ale, ‘organic statuesque fruity ale’, amberblond bier van hoge gisting, niet gepasteuriseerd.

Ingrediënten: Mout (Maris Otter Pale Ale, Cara & Munich), hop (Motoeka & Amarillo), gist, water.

Geproefd: Uitgesproken hoppig van geur met een erg fruitige toets die aan perzik, abrikoos, peer, ananas en zelfs kiwi doet denken. Bitter gehopt (35-40 IBU) van smaak, doch met een zekere fruitige frisheid zonder echt (heel) zoet te zijn of de bitterheid naar de achtergrond te duwen. Met een lekker (hop)droog-bittere nasmaak. Kortom: een zeer aangename doordrinker.

Weetje: Winnaar van de Tesco Drinks Awards 2008 in Schotland. ‘Gemaakt met speciaal uit Amerika geïmporteerde hop, geïnspireerd op Alice in Wonderland’, aldus de brouwers zelf. Voorts wordt het bier op het etiket omschreven als: “You know you shouldn’t. A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. Combining attitude, style substance and a little bit of low self esteem for good measure; what would your mother say? You really should just leave it alone … but you just can’t get the compulsive malt body and gorgeous dirty blonde colour out of your head. The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All that is even before we get onto the fact that there are no additives preservatives, pasteurization or strings attached. All wrapped up with the customary BrewDog bite and imaginative twist. This trashy blonde is going to get you into a lot of trouble.”
